Situated in the heart of Thomas Hardy walking country and surrounded by beautiful countryside, the Apple Tree Wick guest house offers a quiet and comfortable bed and breakfast experience.

Just 3 miles from the lovely town of Dorchester (Hardy's hometown) and 6 miles from his birthplace in Higher Bockhampton, Apple Tree Wick is in the perfect location for all things Dorset. Only 8 miles from the famed seaside town of Weymouth - which will be hosting the 2012 Olympics sailing events, Apple Tree Wick is also ideally located for you to explore Dorset's world-famous Jurassic Coast, and visit the many picture postcard villages that can be found in this quiet corner of the West Country.

Built in 2005 in natural stone in the style of a Dorset Longhouse, Apple Tree Wick is open all year round. Anne and Bob Clarke have established an excellent reputation for preparing fine food, with their homemade jams and freshly baked cakes being particular specialties. You'll eat in the stunning sun lounge that enjoys excellent views over the secluded walled garden.

Why not book a massage with Bob, who is qualified in Swedish and Sports massage, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Hot Stone Massage. Guaranteed to calm you down and relax you after a long day exploring the breathtaking countryside.
