This unique 300 year old ‘cortijo’ (farmhouse), set in 20,000m² of almond groves,fruit trees and pine forest was once owned by the famous bullfighter Pedro Barrera Elbal. Lovingly renovated, the property offers five luxury suites a lounge, dining room and library. Set in comfortable grounds away from the hustle and bustle of city life, the hotel has a swimming pool and outdoor kitchen for al fresco dining.

The property is close to the City of Caravaca de la Cruz; recognised as the fifth holiest city in Christendom and the villages of La Almudema and La Encarnacion.

The hotel is located just on the edge of the Sierra Espuna National Park near the Murcian vineyards of Jumilla, Yechlar and Bullas and the historic city of Lorca. It is also some forty minutes from the beach, and just two hours from Granada and the Sierra Nevada mountains.
